Both versions of our hand wipes were designed to provide you with an easy and effective way to kill bacteria and wipe away dirt from hands, but do so with different active ingredients. Wet Ones Antibacterial Hand Wipes uses benzalkonium chloride, while Wet Ones Plus Alcohol Hand Sanitizing Wipes uses 70% ethyl alcohol.
Wet Ones Hand Sanitizing Gel is formulated with 69% ethyl alcohol to meet CDC recommendations. It is effective at killing 99.9% of many common harmful bacteria in 15 seconds when soap and water are not within reach.
Wet Ones Sensitive Skin Hand and Face Wipes do not contain antibacterial ingredients. They are a specialized formula with ingredients such as witch hazel, cucumber, chamomile, and aloe, created to provide those with extra sensitive skin a way to remove dirt and mess from their hands and face.
We use US-sourced, pharmaceutical-grade ethanol, and our finished product meets the rigorous FDA requirements for drug products.
Unfortunately, we too have seen reports of unauthorized sellers raising their prices amidst high demand due to COVID-19 concerns. Wet Ones does not condone this in any way and we do not recommend purchasing our products from unauthorized sellers since we are unable to control the quality or legitimacy of their products.
Wet Ones products are sold right here on WetOnes.com. They are also sold nationally in most grocery, drug, and mass retail chains like Walmart, Target, Kroger, Walgreens, etc., as well as on Amazon.
The shelf life of our antibacterial products is two (2) years from the date of manufacture. Click Here to view our date code locations for each pack type.
Our formulas have been carefully tested to create the gentle and effective clean you love. Adding water to a dried out wipe would dilute our formula and you would not get the same product benefits.
No. Wet Ones Hand Wipes are not intended to be flushed and should disposed of in a waste paper basket.
Our canisters, cartons, and bottles are recyclable in the majority of communities. As always, before recycling any packaging, you should check your town’s recycling guidelines for confirmation of what is and is not accepted in your area.
