COLORFULLY DYED EGGS
Gather the family and take dyeing eggs up a few colorful notches! Could things get messy? Sure, but that’s all part of the fun. With Wet Ones on hand, eggspressing your creativity has never been easier.
Ready to get started? Here's what you'll need:
- Gel food coloring
- 8 oz. of whipped topping
- 12 hard-boiled eggs
- 2 cups of vinegar
To help the hard-boiled eggs absorb the color, soak them in vinegar for 10 minutes, remove and pat dry.
Place whipped topping in a 9×13 glass dish.
Drip your food coloring onto the whipped topping and carefully use a knife or toothpick to incorporate the colors.
For best results, remember to leave a little white.
Roll the eggs around in the whipped topping and allow to stand for 5-10 minutes to let the dye set.
Now would be a great time for a Wet Ones break!
Place eggs in a bowl of water and gently shake to remove excess whipped topping.
Note: Do not run your eggs under a faucet, as the pressure may remove the color.
Pat dry with a paper towel or dish towel and allow to dry completely.
Grab a Wet Ones and wipe away the rest of the mess left on everyone's hands.
Upcycle some Wet Ones canister lids to showcase your eggs!
